Just as we thought the wild fires in southern california that started last weekend are over, the building next door (8th and Santee) started burning earlier afternoon. Below are some pictures taken from my window.

The Groundfloor@santeecourt gallery is having an opening night on October 6, 2007 from 7pm-10pm. Their show will run from 10/06/2007 to 12/31/2007.

For those who haven’t heard, the Downtown BID is hosting this weekend’s Downtown Living 2007 event. There will be several open houses for condo/apartment projects in the area. Santee Village will be hosting an opening event and will probably introduce their 3 new buildings to the public. I still remember attending their 2005 event, which was what led me to the Textile Building.
