For those who haven’t noticed the flyers on doors and elevator, we will be getting a new farmers market in Santee Court every Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm, starting on October 3. Most of the fruits and vegetables I buy are from farmers markets, so this is a great addition to the available fresh food we have in downtown.
According to LA Chatter, Councilwoman Jan Perry and Mark Weinstein will be there for the opening.
I’ve been home most of Sunday morning and noticed lots of construction noises from across the street today starting at 7am. I was curious what the City of Los Angeles construction restrictions are for Sundays. Doing some searching on the Internet, the permit number for this project is 06010-30000-04368 and I also found a document with some hours listed. Does anyone know if they’re suppose to be doing construction on Sundays?
Not sure how many of you use the rooftop amenities at Santee Court, but I recently ran into an article from Curbed LA, saying that the putting green and driving range will soon be replaced by a lounge with furniture from Design Within Reach.
