Hot water
For our hot water problem, here is an update from Selma:
Plumber was at the building Saturday and was not able to remedy the problem. This morning we had different tech on site and he met two technicians from The Gas Company that were working on low pressure in the gas pipes. According to them there was no enough pressure in the gas pipe to ignite water heater. As I am writing you this email I am on hold with Gas Co trying to find out more details about what they did and if they were successful in fixing the problem. I’ll let you know.
July 10, 1:08pm update:
BST tech is working on the heater since 9 a.m. this morning and he just
informed me that he found out one of the problems is defective flow switch in the heater.
July 10, 4:40pm update:
….. They were trying to locate replacement part to finish the job today but many suppliers were closed or did not have the part. Ron the owner of the company BST stepped in and found replacement part that will be installed first thing tomorrow morning. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
July 11, 5:40pm update:
One boiler is up and running as of 5 minutes ago and the building will be supplied with hot water from that boiler in few hours. However, after they replaced the flow switch they found out that the circulating pump in the second boiler is not working properly and needs to be rebuilt. BST is working on getting all the necessary parts to start rebuilding the pump to have both boilers operating as soon as possible.
Cleaning person??
does anyone have a good cleaning person that they use and trust? someone that’s already familiar with our building?
